Let's talk about "Devil Eye". Devil eye is the horse equivalent to red eye in humans. Unlike humans, it is not always red. It is often white. Since I used a flash for much of the show, you will see devil eye in a lot of the shots. Rather than fix it in all 3000 images before loading them on the website, I decided that I will fix them just before sending them to the printers. Any images you print or download, will have the devil eye fixed before you receive them.

I would like to thank Nicholas and Danielle for helping with the photo duties this past weekend. Photos which they took are identifiable by the N and D in the file name. For each sale of pictures they took, they get half the profits.

I hope everyone made it home safely. All the pictures are posted. Of the 2000 or so that I took, only about 550 met my standards. The light inside those arenas makes it a hit or miss proposition.

It was a fun weekend in Yakima...not too hot and the rain managed to stay away during the day.

Finally, it is here. Show Me Your Horse is a social networking site for you and your horses....chat with friends, post pictures and video of your horses, browse other peoples horses, and even create classified ads to sell or buy a horse. SMYH is also a great place for clubs and organizations to meet and stay in touch if you don't have your own website.

Most of the features of the site are free. Posting classified ads and listing events require a small fee ($5-10/month). The site is supported by small Google ads at the bottom of each page. If you see an ad that interests you, clicking on it helps the site stay in business. Enjoy
